Two PBSC students win Cooke Foundation scholarship

Two Palm Beach State College honors students are among only 55 selected nationwide for the prestigious Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship.

Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, an American Book Award recipient and two-time NAACP Image Award winner, was the keynote speaker at the Palm Beach State College 18th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Thursday, telling the crowd that “Dr. King’s legacy is so significant that we should all engage in it.”

Dyson to speak at PBSC King celebration Jan. 12

Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, an American Book Award recipient and two-time NAACP Image Award winner, will be the keynote speaker at the Palm Beach State College 18th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Jan. 12.
