When Mara Cijulus moved from Haiti with her family to Palm Beach County in 2004, she did not speak English, but she had a vision of herself going to college and becoming a nurse.

Magar and Silvers to speak at commencement ceremonies

Florida State Reps. MaryLynn Magar and David Silvers will be the keynote speakers at the Palm Beach State College spring commencement ceremonies for the more than 3,200 expected graduates.
The ceremonies will be held May 8 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.
