Gene Haas Foundation awards PBSC $20K for scholarships

More scholarship assistance is on the way for students in Palm Beach State College’s Machining Technology Program.
The College has been awarded a $20,000 scholarship grant award from the Gene Haas Foundation to help cover the educational expenses of students in the 1500 clock-hour postsecondary adult vocational program. Faculty, staff earn statewide recognition for best practices

Some Palm Beach State College faculty and staff were recently recognized for launching an innovative three-week engineering program last year for high school students, while others were honored for establishing partnerships with local and national organizations to better assist students preparing for various workforce careers.

Florida Manufacturing Career Fair at Palm Beach State College April 22

Local manufacturers hope to find qualified job candidates at the Florida Manufacturing Career Fair on Wednesday, April 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Palm Beach State College’s Public Safety Conference Center on the Lake Worth campus, 4200 Congress Ave. The career fair is free and open to the public. Veterans with ID may enter the fair early, from 9:30 to 10 a.m.
