Palm Beach State President Ava L. Parker, J.D., has received the 2022 South Florida Ultimate CEO award from the South Florida Business Journal for her visionary business leadership.
The award was presented by Comcast Business during a ceremony Nov. 17 at The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort. As a recipient, Parker was featured with other honorees on the cover of the business journal’s Nov. 18 edition.

President launches gold performance campaign

After two successive years of earning “Silver” status in the state’s new performance funding model, Palm Beach State College is launching a “Go Bold for Gold!” initiative aimed at reaching the top echelon in 2016-17.

Palm Beach State College leaders endorse governor’s graduation challenge

Palm Beach State College leaders today accepted Florida Gov. Rick Scott’s statewide “Ready, Set, Work” challenge calling for the achievement of 100 percent graduation rates for full-time students.
College officials said the challenge is formidable but attainable through a concerted effort to improve student completion.
