PBSC student Jacqueline Pecker named to prestigious All-USA Academic Team

Palm Beach State College student Jacqueline Pecker was among 20 community college students nationwide selected for the 2023 All-USA Academic Team.
The award was presented at the annual Phi Theta Kappa Presidents Breakfast on Monday, April 4, during the American Association of Community Colleges annual convention in Denver, Colo. at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center.

PBSC student among 20 to make All-USA Academic Team

Bernard Harrigan, a Palm Beach State College student and Army veteran who is fulfilling his longtime dream of a higher education, is among only 20 students and the only one in Florida selected for the All-USA Academic Team.

PBSC student named a Coca-Cola Academic Team Scholar

Joseph Culbreath, one of six Palm Beach State College students named to the 2019 All-Florida Academic Team,  also has been chosen as a Coca-Cola Academic Team Scholar.
As a silver scholar, Culbreath, who serves as president of both the Phi Theta Kappa chapter on the Lake Worth campus and the Honors College Advisory Council, will receive a $1,250 scholarship and a commemorative medallion.

Barbatis selected a PTK Distinguished Administrator

Dr. Peter Barbatis, Palm Beach State College vice president of student services and enrollment management, has received a 2017 Distinguished Administrator Award from Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society for his support of the organization as well as initiatives to help students succeed.
