Commissioner Michael Barnett is a proud alum of Palm Beach State College, having earned his Associate in Arts degree before rising through the ranks of Palm Beach County politics.
Originally from Boca Raton, Barnett earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of South Florida and his juris doctor at the University of Miami.

Palm Beach State College alumna and Native American expert and activist Jenny Big Crow hopes to help change the world through her message promoting nonviolence.
Big Crow speaks often on her Native American heritage and the importance of civil disobedience, especially the lessons she learned as part of the 2016 Standing Rock Protest. The grassroots movement happened in reaction to the planned Dakota Access Pipeline construction in the northern United States.

The Village of Wellington recognizes PBSC’s 90th anniversary with a proclamation

Palm Beach State College received a special proclamation recognizing its 90th anniversary from The Village of Wellington during a village council meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 8.

Palm Beach State College was a game changer for Daniel Sorrow when he enrolled and graduated with an Associate in Arts degree in 1999.

Town of Jupiter recognizes PBSC’s 90th anniversary year with proclamation

Palm Beach State College received a special proclamation recognizing its 90th anniversary from the Town of Jupiter during a town council meeting June 20.
