Twenty-five Palm Beach State College faculty, staff and administrators became heroes for Palm Beach County children this past weekend during the Heroes 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run in Okeeheelee Park in West Palm Beach.
This 14th annual event was held to raise funds for The Children’s Home Society of Florida, which provides a variety of programs that focus on child abuse, neglect, prevention and intervention, adoption and adoption support services.
