Palm Beach County female  leaders in politics will participate in a panel discussion at Palm Beach State College in Palm Beach Gardens March 27.
The Women’s History Month event features State Rep. Lori Berman, Palm Beach Gardens Mayor Maria Marino and Michelle Oyola McGovern, director of outreach for U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson. PBSC celebrates more than 2,700 fall graduates

Palm Beach State College celebrated its more than 2,700 fall graduates during two commencement ceremonies Dec. 19 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.

State Rep. Lori Berman, who represents District 90, was the speaker at the morning ceremony for graduates of the Associate in Science, Bachelor of Applied Science and Bachelor of Science degree programs and certificate programs. Berman replaces Mast as morning commencement speaker

State Rep. Lori Berman has been tapped to replace U.S. Rep. Brian Mast as the keynote speaker for Palm Beach State College’s morning commencement ceremony Dec. 19.
Berman will speak at the 10 a.m. ceremony for graduates of the Associate in Science, Bachelor of Applied Science and Bachelor of Science degree programs and certificate programs. Mast was scheduled to speak but is unable to attend because a last-minute session has been scheduled for next week.

PBSC Boca Raton campus to host Women Entrepreneurs Summit April 29

Florida State Sen. Maria Sachs, Rep. Lori Berman and Palm Beach County Commissioner Priscilla Taylor will be the speakers at the 5th Annual Women Entrepreneurs Network Summit at Palm Beach State College in Boca Raton.

U.S. Reps. Deutch, Frankel urge opposition to guns on campus legislation

Groundbreaking ceremony held for PBSC Loxahatchee Groves campus

Palm Beach State College held a groundbreaking ceremony today for its long-planned Loxahatchee Groves campus that will provide more convenient access to classes for residents in the county’s growing west central communities.
More than 100 people, including local and state elected officials and community and business leaders, attended the ceremony under a tent on the 75-acre campus site at the northwest corner of Southern Boulevard and B Road.
