PBSC alum now a Baltimore Orioles major league player

Palm Beach State College baseball alumnus Nicholas “Nick” Vespi is now a Baltimore Orioles Major League Baseball player.
Vespi, who pitched for PBSC during the 2015 season, was drafted later that year in the 18th round and signed with the Orioles to play for their minor league affiliate teams.

PBSC alum helps Astros win World Series

Brad Peacock was a high school third baseman when Palm Beach State College recruited him in 2006 to play for the Panthers. There was one change.
Instead of third base, former PBSC baseball coach Alex Morales signed him to be a pitcher. That turned out to be the best move for Peacock, now a Houston Astros pitcher who helped lead the team to its first World Series Championship Wednesday.

Quadruple threat: Panthers picked in MLB draft

Four Palm Beach State College Panther baseball players were selected this week in the Major League Baseball draft.
Pitcher Gio Arriera was picked in the fourth round by the Detroit Tigers, pitcher Jared Johnson was picked in the 17th round by the Washington Nationals, shortstop Matt Morales was chosen in the 23rd round by the Kansas City Royals and pitcher Kyle Farjad was selected in the 33rd round by the Miami Marlins.

Panther teams head to state tournaments

The Palm Beach State College baseball and softball teams are heading to their state championships.
Both teams placed second overall in the Southern Conference. The baseball team regular season record was 35-13 and softball was 30-22.

Panther baseball team heads to state tournament

The Palm Beach State College baseball team celebrated on their home field yesterday as they clinched their 38th win of the 2015 season and the Southern Conference Championship title in a nail-biter game against Eastern Florida State College.

Forbes honored as the top coach in Palm Beach County

It was a historic 2013 for Palm Beach State College baseball. With the leadership of head coach Kyle Forbes, the team won its first FCSAA state title since 1984 and made its first ever appearance in the NJCAA JUCO World Series.
For these efforts, Forbes was named Coach of the Year by the Palm Beach County Sports Commission.
