Hopkins and Jones artwork featured in Biennial exhibition

Palm Beach State College professor Kristin Miller Hopkins and adjunct instructor Symantha Jones are two of 30 artists who were recently chosen to showcase their artwork in the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County’s Biennial 2021 exhibition.

PBSC Fine Arts Faculty exhibit opens at the Cultural Council Gallery

The Humanities Division of Palm Beach State College has teamed up with the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County to showcase the work of 18 Fine Arts faculty at the Cultural Council Gallery in downtown Lake Worth.
The exhibit opens on Sept. 13 and runs through Nov. 9. It is free and open to the public. Hopkins art piece “Family Trees” selected as theme for writers festival

An art piece created by Professor Kristin Miller Hopkins is now the theme of Agnes Scott College’s 44th Annual Writers’ Festival, the oldest continuous literary event in Georgia. The festival will be held  March 26-27 in Decatur, Ga.

Art at the Airport exhibit features work of three PBSC professors

Travelers and visitors at the Palm Beach International Airport can see the artwork of three Palm Beach State College faculty members.
The artwork of Professors Sherry Stephens, Wayne Stephens and Kristin Miller Hopkins were selected for the current “Art at the Airport” exhibit sponsored by Palm Beach County’s Art in Public Places program. The exhibit began Feb. 26 and runs through June 25 on Level 2 of the main airport terminal, across from Travelers Lounge.
