PBSC breaks ground on new dental and medical building on its Lox Groves campus

 Palm Beach State College held a groundbreaking ceremony May 16 for its high-tech $50 million Dental & Medical Services Technology Building on its Loxahatchee Groves campus.

Panther’s Closet opens at PBSC Belle Glade campus

Palm Beach State College recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially mark the opening of its new Panther’s Closet on the Belle Glade campus, where students can buy new or gently used clothes, shoes and accessories for $1.

Lox Groves campus hosts local businesses during Community Roundup event

Palm Beach State College’s Loxahatchee Groves campus held a Welcome Back & Community Roundup networking event Aug. 26 for faculty, staff and local businesses from the Wellington Chamber of Commerce.
The western-themed event was attended by 67 faculty, staff and community members and was organized to welcome PBSC faculty back to campus, give College updates on the start of the fall 2022 term, and thank staff for their hard work. Lancaster selected for Leadership Engage

Kimberly Lancaster, dean of academic affairs on the Loxahatchee Groves and Belle Glade campuses, is among 56 professionals accepted into the 2022-23 class for Leadership Engage, the highly selective 10-month flagship program of Leadership Palm Beach County.

Loxahatchee Groves campus celebrates five years

Palm Beach State College celebrated the five-year anniversary of its Loxahatchee Groves campus with a small outdoor reception and updates on enrollment, community partnerships and expansion plans.
The Dennis P. Gallon campus, officially named in honor of the College’s former longtime president, opened as the fifth campus on Feb. 27, 2017, to more than 700 students. Today, it serves over 5,000 students annually.
