Hakeem Rahim, a nationally recognized mental health advocate, will speak at Palm Beach State College in Boca Raton Feb. 22.

PBSC expands student access to mental health counseling

Palm Beach State College students who need mental health counseling now have access 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The College has partnered with BayCare Behavioral Health to provide broader and more convenient access to counseling and other services for its 49,000 students on five campuses. Palm Beach State students stand up to suicide

Palm Beach State College students held a Stand Up to Suicide demonstration today to raise awareness of suicide and to encourage their peers struggling with depression and mental illness to seek help.
The Psychology & Human Services Club co-sponsored the event with the PBSC College-Wide Counseling Center, Walgreens and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
