PBSC honors graduate receives Jack Kent Cooke scholarship

Tarruck Wheeler, a Palm Beach State College Dr. Floyd F. Koch Honors College graduate, is among 100 selected nationwide to receive the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation’s prestigious Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship.

The highly competitive scholarship, which this year drew 1,200 applicants from 332 community colleges, provides students with up to $55,000 per year for up to three years to complete the upper division coursework for their bachelor’s degrees.

Ivan Franco, a Palm Beach State College Honors College student, is among only 50 selected nationwide to receive the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation’s prestigious Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship.
The highly competitive scholarship, which this year drew 1,500 applicants from 311 community colleges, provides students with up to $40,000 a year to complete the upper division coursework for their bachelor’s degrees.

PBSC student awarded $40,000 transfer scholarship

Palm Beach State College honors student Vinicius Wagner has been chosen as one of only 47 recipients nationwide for the 2018 Jack Kent Cooke Foundation’s Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship.
The highly competitive scholarship provides Wagner with up to $40,000 annually for a maximum of three years to complete his bachelor’s degree.

The doors of educational opportunity continue to swing wide open for two Palm Beach State Honors College alumna who have been awarded their second scholarship from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation, this time to cover up to $200,000 of their graduate school expenses.
