Ana M. Thomas is among the finalists for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County’s annual Esperanza Award.
Thomas, Foundation development director and Palm Beach State College alumna, is nominated in the education category for her significant impact to her profession and the community. Other award categories are business and community.

PBSC named as one of the top colleges for Hispanics

Palm Beach State College has been recognized by The Hispanic Outlook on Education (HO) Magazine as one of the leading community colleges for Hispanics in the United States.
The magazine listed the College as number five on its list of the top 10 4-Year Schools Awarding the Most Associate Degrees to Hispanics in its February special issue on community colleges.

Poet and actor kicks off Hispanic Heritage Month events

Award-winning poet, actor and writer Carlos Andrés Gómez will speak at Palm Beach State College Sept. 14 in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
