PBSC celebrates spring graduates with traditional fanfare

Palm Beach State College celebrated its more than 2,000 spring graduates at two commencement ceremonies May 12 and applauded their resilience in reaching the milestone despite unique challenges caused by the pandemic.

PBSC returns to traditional commencement ceremonies

Palm Beach State College will hold two commencement ceremonies at the South Florida Fairgrounds Expo Center May 12 to celebrate its more than 2,000 expected spring graduates.
The first ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. for graduates of the Associate in Science, Bachelor of Applied Science and Bachelor of Science degree programs and the certificate programs. PBSC Grad Walk set for Dec. 12

Palm Beach State College will hold Grad Walk Sunday, Dec. 12, to celebrate its more than 2,400 expected fall graduates and its more than 1,800 students who completed their programs of study during the summer.

Brothers complete A.A. degrees in one year; headed to UF

Anas Saeed Saeed Ahmed and his brother, Maaz Saeed Saeed Ahmed, enrolled at Palm Beach State College as international students from Dubai, United Arab Emirates in 2018, determined to complete their Associate in Arts transfer degrees in one year.

Vong realizes dream of a U.S. education

When Tatiana Vong was just 18 years old, she found herself in a challenging situation. She had no job or place to live and didn’t speak English.
Vong, who will be graduating magna cum laude Dec. 19 with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in project management, had moved to the United States from Batir, Moldova through a visa exchange program.

Ahria Bass didn’t just get a head start on her college education while in high school, she completed her Associate in  Arts degree with Honors College distinction.

PBSC to hold first GradFest celebration

Palm Beach State College will recognize its soon-to-be fall graduates not only at commencement, but also at GradFest, a new initiative launching this semester.
