PBSC receives NSF grant to expand cybersecurity training

Palm Beach State College will begin offering two cybersecurity college credit certificate programs at the Belle Glade and Loxahatchee Groves campuses this summer to provide access to training in rural communities and to help attract more women and underrepresented minorities into the growing field.
The initiative, dubbed Project CODE (Computer Outreach for Diverse Education), is being funded with a $592,630 grant from the National Science Foundation. Glades area high school students gain welding skills

A group of high school students is getting a jump-start on training for a high-demand welding career, thanks to an initiative launched at Palm Beach State College in Belle Glade.

Farm equipment donation boosts PBSC mechanics program

Farm equipment takes a beating during harvests, and skilled mechanics are needed to keep these large vehicles in working order.
