PBSC horticulture professor opens statewide conference

Dr. George K. Rogers, professor and chair of Palm Beach State College’s Environmental Horticulture department, was the opening ceremony speaker at the Florida State Horticulture Society’s annual convention held Sunday through Tuesday at the Hutchinson Island Marriott Beach Resort in Stuart.
The 129th meeting of the nation’s oldest horticultural society drew 120 attendees representing the academic horticulture community, government, nursery businesses and more.
