Palm Beach State College received a special proclamation recognizing its 90th anniversary from the City of South Bay during a city council meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 1.

Three new Smith & Moore Family Teen Center members will start their higher education journey at Palm Beach State College as recipients of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County-Belle Glade Teen Center Scholarship.
The students, Anny Hails, DeQuan Holly and Madison Freeman, were announced during a recent luncheon at the center in Belle Glade. Panther’s Closet opens at PBSC Belle Glade campus

Palm Beach State College recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially mark the opening of its new Panther’s Closet on the Belle Glade campus, where students can buy new or gently used clothes, shoes and accessories for $1.

PBSC Belle Glade campus designated official host of Muck City Sports Hall of Fame Awards

The Palm Beach State College Belle Glade campus has been designated as the official host of the Muck City Sports Hall of Fame awards ceremony, an annual tribute that recognizes athletes and patrons who got their start in the communities of Belle Glade, Clewiston, Pahokee and South Bay on the eastern shore of Lake Okeechobee. PBSC and LMC partner to support workforce and education needs

Palm Beach State College’s Belle Glade campus and The Health Care District of Palm Beach County’s acute care teaching hospital, Lakeside Medical Center (LMC), have partnered to support workforce and education needs in the Glades.
As part of the partnership, PBSC high school dual enrollment and Belle Glade campus students will have the opportunity to tour Lakeside, attend information sessions about hospital programs and careers, and learn more about the hospital’s student ambassador program.
