PBSC named a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense

The National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security have named Palm Beach State College a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense through 2027. The CAE Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) designation is awarded to regionally accredited academic institutions that offer quality cybersecurity-related degrees and/or certificates and meet rigorous requirements to prepare students for the nation’s cybersecurity workforce.

PBSC to offer two new bachelor’s degrees this fall

Palm Beach State College will begin offering two new bachelor’s degree programs in the fall to give students pursuing careers in human services and respiratory therapy more options to further their education and meet the growing demands of the critical fields.
The Florida Board of Education approved the College’s proposals April 1 to launch a Bachelor of Science in Cardiopulmonary Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services. Business bachelor’s degree programs earn accreditation

The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs has awarded Palm Beach State College accreditation of its bachelor’s level Supervision and Management programs.
PBSC’s Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Supervision and Management, offered on the Lake Worth campus as well as online, encompasses four concentrations, all of which meet the educational standards required for ACBSP accreditation. The concentrations are General Management, Entrepreneurship, Health Management and Project Management.
