Hopkins and Jones artwork featured in Biennial exhibition

Palm Beach State College professor Kristin Miller Hopkins and adjunct instructor Symantha Jones are two of 30 artists who were recently chosen to showcase their artwork in the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County’s Biennial 2021 exhibition.
Hopkins and Jones, who are each presenting in the juried exhibition for the first time, were selected from a pool of 150 Palm Beach County artists. PBSC Fine Arts Faculty exhibit opens at the Cultural Council Gallery

The Humanities Division of Palm Beach State College has teamed up with the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County to showcase the work of 18 Fine Arts faculty at the Cultural Council Gallery in downtown Lake Worth.
The exhibit opens on Sept. 13 and runs through Nov. 9. It is free and open to the public. Art instructor wins $1,000 prize from Cultural Council

Wayne Stephens, who teaches art at Palm Beach State College’s Palm Beach Gardens campus, was recognized earlier this month by the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County for his painting “Untitled 2.” It is currently on display at the Council’s Biennial 2015 exhibit in Lake Worth.
The Council chose Stephens’ piece as the second best in the exhibit. He was awarded $1,000.
