PBSC alumnus Alexiou Gibson, CEO & President of The Transformation Factory, who struck a $600K deal on ABC’s Shark Tank, will be the keynote speaker during Palm Beach State College’s 2023 spring commencement ceremony to be held for the first time at The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches at 5:30 p.m. May 9 in West Palm Beach.

PBSC celebrates spring graduates with traditional fanfare

Palm Beach State College celebrated its more than 2,000 spring graduates at two commencement ceremonies May 12 and applauded their resilience in reaching the milestone despite unique challenges caused by the pandemic.
It was the first time since December 2019 that PBSC held commencement ceremonies with keynote speakers and traditional fanfare, including a performance by the PBSC drumline and singing of the College’s alma mater.

Palm Beach State College will hold two commencement ceremonies at the South Florida Fairgrounds Expo Center May 12 to celebrate its more than 2,000 expected spring graduates.

PBSC to host Grad Walk May 13 to celebrate graduates

Palm Beach State College is holding Grad Walk Thursday, May 13 to celebrate the achievements of its spring 2021 graduates.  
The event, which is in lieu of a traditional commencement ceremony, will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Duncan Theatre on the Lake Worth campus. Brothers complete A.A. degrees in one year; headed to UF

Anas Saeed Saeed Ahmed and his brother, Maaz Saeed Saeed Ahmed, enrolled at Palm Beach State College as international students from Dubai, United Arab Emirates in 2018, determined to complete their Associate in Arts transfer degrees in one year.

Injured Army vet overcomes tragedies to earn his degree

United States Army Veteran Clarence Jennings has had to endure one too many tragedies in his life, but he’s not letting any of them stop him from reaching his goals.
Jennings, 68, started attending Palm Beach State College two years ago and will graduate this month with an Associate in Science degree in Human Services. He also earned a PBSC College Credit Certificate in Addiction Studies.

Ahria Bass didn’t just get a head start on her college education while in high school, she completed her Associate in  Arts degree with Honors College distinction.

Roth replaces Mast as morning commencement speaker

With Congress preparing to go into session later this month, State Rep. Rick Roth has been tapped to replace U.S. Rep.
