To drive a classroom-to-career pipeline of highly trained individuals, Palm Beach State College was awarded a Bank of America grant of $100,000 annually for two years, totaling $200,000. Since the majority of Palm Beach State College students are residents of the county, they too may be struggling to get enough to eat.

Palm Beach State College has received a $45,000 donation from Bank of America Charitable Foundation to support Panther’s Closet and Panther’s Pantry, two initiatives to help students.
The gift was presented Tuesday at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Panther’s Closet, a thrift store that opened in March in a refurbished classroom on the Lake Worth campus. American auto racing driver and spokeswoman Danica Patrick will be the keynote speaker at the Palm Beach State College Foundation’s 2016 STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) luncheon presented by Bank of America.
