More than 400 people tuned in on their creativity at PBSC’s Humanities Arts Fest 2023 on Saturday, Feb. 25 at the Lake Worth campus.
Attendees at the free event took playwriting classes, created art, watched short films, designed a room, listened to live music and much more. Hopkins and Jones artwork featured in Biennial exhibition

Palm Beach State College professor Kristin Miller Hopkins and adjunct instructor Symantha Jones are two of 30 artists who were recently chosen to showcase their artwork in the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County’s Biennial 2021 exhibition.

Exhibit spotlighting the Glades on display at the Dolly Hand

An art exhibit showcasing the attributes of the Glades is on display at Palm Beach State College’s Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Center.
Titled “Outside the Box,” the exhibit runs until Feb. 23 and features original artworks inspired by contemporary and historical attributes of the Glades’ natural and human-made environments, communities, recreational activities, education, arts, culture and industry.

Exhibits featuring art through a variety of mediums such as paintings, drawings and photography will be presented this spring at The Art Gallery at Eissey Campus and The Gallery at Lake Worth campus. All exhibits are free and open to the public.

Dr. Guy Harvey, a marine biologist who gained international recognition for his paintings of sea creatures, will be the keynote speaker for the Palm Beach State College Foundation 2018 STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) luncheon.

The “Summer in the Gardens” exhibit featuring artworks by 19 teachers from the Palm Beach County Art Teachers Association will be on display at the Art Gallery at Eissey Campus beginning May 17.

Art at the Airport exhibit features work of three PBSC professors

Travelers and visitors at the Palm Beach International Airport can see the artwork of three Palm Beach State College faculty members.
The artwork of Professors Sherry Stephens, Wayne Stephens and Kristin Miller Hopkins were selected for the current “Art at the Airport” exhibit sponsored by Palm Beach County’s Art in Public Places program. The exhibit began Feb. 26 and runs through June 25 on Level 2 of the main airport terminal, across from Travelers Lounge.
