Palm Beach State College alumna Holly Pascal is hoping to inspire and uplift the next generation of the aerospace workforce.
Currently a NASA Headquarters Systems Engineer in Washington, D.C., Pascal is also the author of “The College to Dream Job Blueprint,” the founder of the Women’s Aerospace Network, and is passionate about advancing the building blocks of humanity throughout the solar system.

Girl Scout VP says PBSC provided her with a solid foundation

Elle Harrigan’s career began as a certified pharmacy technician and trainer for Walgreens which led her to earn a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biotechnology at Palm Beach Atlantic University.
Fueled by this scientific foundation, she thought she would pursue a career in research. However, life had different plans for Harrigan, now the vice president of advancement at Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida.

Chief of staff says PBSC helped him uncover new passions

During high school, Tom Valeo, now the chief of staff for the City of West Palm Beach, didn’t give much thought to attending college. Valeo says it was mainly because no one in his immediate family had ever graduated from college.
However, this changed when he got exposed to PBSC’s music department through his high school’s music program. Having music as a passion and considering PBSC’s program exceptional, he decided to enroll.

Myrick part of a family legacy of proud PBSC graduates

Palm Beach State College’s Interim Associate Registrar LaTisha Myrick’s path to her recent master’s degree in educational leadership from Florida Gulf Coast University started at Suncoast High School in Riviera Beach. Business entrepreneur fondly recalls tennis playing days at PBJC

Gregory Dillard was born and raised in West Palm Beach. After graduating high school in Atlanta, he returned, entering the Business Management program at then Palm Beach Junior College in 1985.
After his father passed away in 1987, Dillard took an alternate path into the Army where he played for their tennis team from 1988-1991. But his tennis prowess developed while at PBJC.
