Palm Beach State College alumna Holly Pascal is hoping to inspire and uplift the next generation of the aerospace workforce.
Currently a NASA Headquarters Systems Engineer in Washington, D.C., Pascal is also the author of “The College to Dream Job Blueprint,” the founder of the Women’s Aerospace Network, and is passionate about advancing the building blocks of humanity throughout the solar system.

Chief of staff says PBSC helped him uncover new passions

During high school, Tom Valeo, now the chief of staff for the City of West Palm Beach, didn’t give much thought to attending college. Valeo says it was mainly because no one in his immediate family had ever graduated from college.
However, this changed when he got exposed to PBSC’s music department through his high school’s music program. Having music as a passion and considering PBSC’s program exceptional, he decided to enroll.

Life has come full circle for Michael Garrison, a community business owner for the past 23 years. Growing up in Belle Glade, Garrison earned his associate degree in architectural design at Palm Beach State’s Belle Glade campus and has designed some of south Florida’s most prestigious properties.

When Palm Beach State College Foundation Board Chair Ricky Wade found himself at Good Samaritan Medical Center, he expected quality care but not from who would give it, his own good Samaritan.
