PBSC to hold a STEM career panel Sept. 22
Palm Beach State College will hold a STEM career panel at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22 in the Humanities and Technology Building (HT) Room 103 on the Boca Raton campus.
The panel, which is free and open to the public, is hosted by the tresPATHS Project in partnership with the STEM Articulation and Transfer program and the PBSC Career Center.
Panelists are: Lesya Keen, PNC Bank senior branch manager; Jesenia Cruz, human resources generalist, Tropical Shipping; David Hartmann, CSM, founder & CEO of The SilverLogic; and Perry Weinthal, lab manager/building coordinator, Florida Atlantic University.
“Students and members from the community should attend this career panel to obtain further insight into multiple industries,” said Program Grant Manager Kevin Moreau. “Many of our students may be undecided or want to understand what the workforce looks like once they graduate. With the panel, they’ll be able to ask employers directly how they can best get prepared.”
You can register for the panel here. For more information on the tresPATHS Project, visit www.palmbeachstate.edu/tresPATHS.
