PBSC alumna Vidamour Named Beach Volleyball Scholar-Athlete

Lola Vidamour has been named the Florida College System Activities Association Beach Volleyball Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the 2022-23 academic year.  Lola graduated summa cum laude with her Associate in Arts degree in May.

“I can attest firsthand what an outstanding individual Lola is both on and off the court,” said PBSC Athletics Director John Scarpino. “She competed with an energy and passion that was infectious, consistently pushing herself and her teammates. If there was an award to win, Lola won it.”

This academic award is just another achievement for Vidamour, who helped lead the Panthers to both the FCSAA and NJCAA championships.

She was named the FCSAA Player of the Year, FCSAA and NJCAA Pair of the Year (along with Angelina Botolino) and was named a NJCAA First-Team All-American.

  1. Congratulations, Lola! You are a great example of how hard work pays off! I’ve enjoyed watching you play (and practice!) over the past couple of years, and I wish you all the best in the future. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if I may ever be able to help you in any way. Coaches Drew and Jessica can always get in touch with me, if necessary.
