The Sankofa African American Museum on Wheels is returning to Palm Beach State College as part of this year’s Black History Month events being held at the College.

The exhibit will be displayed at the Palm Beach Gardens campus from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 9, in room SCA 127. Founded by Angela Jennings in 1995, Sankofa has been educating the public on African American history for 28 years. It contains over 2,000 pictures, inventions and artifacts from 1860 to the present. It was last on campus in 2020.

The event is being organized by Student Activities and is among several events, including movie screenings and panel discussions, to celebrate the achievements of African Americans.
