PBSC celebrates life of Patricia Richie
Palm Beach State College paused Sept. 16 to celebrate the life of Patricia V. Richie, former workforce dean, who died Aug. 24.
The Celebration of Life ceremony was held outside in the Pruitt Plaza at the Education and Training Center, which houses many of the programs she oversaw. Richie retired this past January after about 27 years at the College. Speakers included current and former College administrators, staff and faculty, members of her family, as well as members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and other organizations in which she belonged.
