NAWA art exhibit opens May 16

The Art Gallery at Eissey Campus will host the National Association of Women Artists (NAWA) Florida Chapter’s annual art exhibit beginning May 16.
The exhibit, titled “Envisioning New Pathways,” is a multimedia show that will include sculptures, paintings, photography, ceramics and mixed media. An opening reception will be held at 5 p.m. May 16 in the gallery. The exhibit will run through Sept. 1.
With a membership of more than 100 women, the NAWA Florida Chapter fosters public awareness of, and interest in, works of art with emphasis on fine art created by women and encourages the artwork of new emerging artists. To become a member, an artist first applies for membership in NAWA, Inc. Artistic standards are maintained through a juried process. When an artist is accepted into the national association, she may choose to join the Florida Chapter.
Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Thursday. The Art Gallery at Eissey Campus is located on the first floor of the BB building, 3160 PGA Blvd. For more information, call the gallery at 561-207-5015 or visit www.palmbeachstate.edu/ArtGalleryPBG
