Serpico returns to “Face Off”

She’s back! Emily Serpico, the Palm Beach State College Cosmetology program graduate who competed two years ago on the Syfy cable network’s “Face Off,” will return to the show for Season 11, premiering Jan. 24 at 9 p.m.
This popular competition/elimination TV series challenges special effects makeup artists to create original characters for sci-fi, fantasy, horror and other extreme film genres. Season 11 brings back 16 “all-stars”—favorite artists from past seasons—to compete for the top honor and win a Hyundai Veloster and $100,000.
The youngest contestant of “Face Off” to date, Serpico wowed the judges when she appeared in 2015’s Season 8. Her unique and beautifully executed characters stood out, and she earned a spot as one of three season finalists.
Serpico now works as a hair technician in a wig business that she co-owns with her mother. She credits her success to her mother, who taught her at a young age how to create and style wigs. Currently residing in Orlando, Serpico grew up locally and attended the G-Star School of the Arts in West Palm Beach before enrolling in PBSC’s Cosmetology program.
