Palm Beach State College’s Media Technology and Instructional Services department at the Palm Beach Gardens campus has won two top honors in the 2016 national video contest conducted by the Consortium of College and University Media Centers.  First-place awards went to “Library Tour” in the Best Training Video category and “Student Learning Center” in the Best Promotional Video category.  The entire MTIS staff contributed to the production of the videos.

This is the seventh year CCUMC has conducted a video contest.  In 2015, the Palm Beach Gardens campus MTIS received second place for “Chemistry Lab Safety” in the Best Training Video category.  The judging criteria include content, camera, lighting, audio, effects, editing and more.
