Duncan recognized as best by local publication

Palm Beach State College’s Duncan Theatre on the Lake Worth campus has been named by Florida Weekly as the 2016 Best Place for a Song and Dance.
According to the publication, the Duncan Theatre’s 29th season delivered the strongest line-up of iconic modern dance companies in the theatre’s history such as Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Paul Taylor Dance Company, Pilobolus and the 70th anniversary tour of Jose Limon Dance Company.
It also stated that the music was diverse as well, with concerts by Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame inductee Darlene Love, a laser spectacular event set to the music of Pink Floyd, and a performance by pop star Belinda Carlisle, among others.
The recognition was included in Florida Weekly’s Best Special Section published on May 5, 2016. For a complete list of winners, chosen by Florida Weekly’s writers and editors, visit palmbeachgardens.floridaweekly.com
