College is Possible event set for Feb. 21 at Palm Beach Gardens campus

Palm Beach State College is once again hosting a free seminar Feb. 21 for high school seniors who still need help getting on the path to college and juniors who want to get a head start on their higher education planning.

“College is Possible,” will be held from 10 to 11:45 a.m. in the Meldon Lecture Hall at the Palm Beach Gardens campus. Check-in and campus tours will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. The event will feature a special workshop to help students and their parents navigate the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). With the proper financial paperwork, students will be able to apply onsite for financial aid.

PBSC staff will be available to answer questions about Admissions and other college departments. Seniors will have an opportunity to participate in a drawing for a college scholarship.

Advance registration is recommended, but on-site registration will be available. The event is being held in collaboration with the School District of Palm Beach County. For details visit www.palmbeachstate.edu/recruitment/college-possible.aspx.
