PBSC Women’s Empowerment Forum kicks off Feb. 27






Students and the public have the opportunity to hear from women who are shaping our community in a series of talks hosted by Palm Beach State College.
The first Women’s Empowerment Forum this year is presented by PNC Bank and will be held from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Feb. 27. The forum features a panel discussion titled “Women of Social Change.” The panel will be comprised of Dr. Jean Wihbey, PBSC provost; Jocelyn Skolnik, executive director of El Sol; Pamela Toussaint, image coach; Priscilla Taylor, Palm Beach County commissioner; Marilyn Willison, author and speaker; and Louise Gopher, Seminole tribe leader. Toussaint will serve as the moderator.
The talk will take place in the BioScience Technology Complex, room SC127, on the Palm Beach Gardens campus at 3160 PGA Blvd. The cost is $15. Registration and breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m.

The Women’s Empowerment Forum is presented by the College’s Corporate and Continuing Education division, which provides training opportunities in a variety of professional leadership topics. It offers individual courses, customized employee training, professional certification exam prep and special offerings like the Leaders Empowering Action Program designed to help managers become leaders.
