Share your vision for Palm Beach State College’s next president
Palm Beach State College will hold listening sessions Dec. 9-10 at all four campuses to kick off the College’s national presidential search.
The listening sessions will provide opportunities for students, faculty, staff and the public to provide input and suggestions to guide the search.
Myers McRae, a national consulting firm specializing in the placement of executive leadership for higher education, will conduct the listening sessions. The firm has been selected by the College’s District Board of Trustees to coordinate the search for the successor to current president, Dr. Dennis P. Gallon, who is retiring June 30, 2015, after 17 years at the helm.
“We encourage everyone to share their ideas so that we can begin to build a profile of the next president, one who will not only have the personal attributes, skills and abilities needed but also the vision to lead the College into the future,” said Emily Myers, president of Myers McRae.
