Gov. Scott reappoints Williams to District Board of Trustees

Carolyn L. Williams, a longtime member of the Palm Beach State College District Board of Trustees, was reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott Thursday to another term.
Her new term, which must be confirmed by the Florida Senate, ends May 31, 2017.
Williams, a retired senior staff advisor for the South Florida Water Management District, is currently chairperson of the five-member District Board of Trustees. She first joined the board in 1999.
She is chair and president of the Gerald A. Williams Esquire Legacy Foundation, named in honor of her late husband, and a board member of the Palm Beach County Education Commission. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida.
