AngstThe use of social media has exploded around the globe. Collectively, Facebook. Twitter, Google+, Pinterest and Instagram now have billions of users. So how do we navigate it all?

Dr. Corey M. Angst, an associate professor in the Department of Management at the Mendoza College of Business at Notre Dame, will teach this and more as the featured speaker at the Notre Dame Club of the Palm Beaches 16th annual lecture event, “Grandma Friended Me on Facebook: Making Sense of Social Media,” at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 20 in Meldon Lecture Hall at Palm Beach State College’s Palm Beach Gardens campus.

Angst’s classroom focus is on business problem solving, project management and strategic information technology. He received his Ph.D. from the Smith School of Business, University of Maryland. Prior to graduate school, he worked for 10 years in both technical and strategic roles, most recently with the DuPont company.

The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Professor Tom Magill at 561-842-3019 or magillt@palmbeachstate.edu.
