Palm Beach State College has partnered with Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. (CFP Board) to provide a new financial planning certification preparation program beginning in March 2016 on the Boca Raton campus.
Individuals who successfully complete the 10-month program will fulfill the CFP Board 270 contact hour minimum education requirement and become eligible to sit for the Certified Financial Planner® Certification Exam administered by CFP Board. New certification preparation courses are available for human resource professionals through Palm Beach State College’s Corporate and Continuing Education division, in partnership with the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
SHRM’s new competency-based certifications are: the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM –CP) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). Palm Beach State is also offering an SHRM introductory course on the Essentials for Human Resource Management.
