Throughout their history, Palm Beach State College’s athletic programs have produced some of the finest athletes in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division I. Many of them have gone on to succeed at the university level and in professional sports. Here’s a snapshot of some of the Panther athletes and their successes:

Bobby Conley

Finished his final year of eligibility this year at Texas State University, where is he completing his bachelor’s degree.
Team captain for Texas State University for the 2016-17 season
As a guard, helped the team reach its first postseason tournament in 20 years with a College Insiders Postseason Tournament (CIT) berth
Helped lead Texas State to the program’s first Sun Belt Conference Tournament Finals
Was a Texas State Academic Achievement recipient for the 2016-17 school year
Made game-winning three-pointer with 2.5 seconds remaining in the first round of the 2016 Sun Belt Conference Tournament

Jarrel Marshall
A.A., 2015
Earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Communication this year after completing two years at the University of Portland
Appeared in a total of 31 games off bench in 2015-2016, scoring a season-high 25 points on 11-of-18 shooting versus Gonzaga
Started the first seven games of the 2016-2017 season before a high ankle sprain sidelined him for six weeks.Scored a season-high 16 points in win over California State University, Northridge at the Wooden Legacy Classic.

 

Sammis Reyes
A.A., 2016
Completed his first season this year at Tulane University, where he appeared in 30 games with the Green Wave.

Brittany Tiegs
