She’s back! Emily Serpico, the Palm Beach State College Cosmetology program graduate who competed two years ago on the Syfy cable network’s “Face Off,” will return to the show for Season 11, premiering Jan. 24 at 9 p.m.

Palm Beach State College art faculty from the Lake Worth, Palm Beach Gardens and Boca Raton campuses will showcase some of their new work in an Art Faculty Exhibit beginning Jan. 10.

Palm Beach State College’s Tuesday Nite Big Band will perform with guest-artist and American jazz drummer Victor Lewis from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Nov. 22 in the Duncan Theatre. Admission is $15. PBSC students, faculty, staff, as well as K-12 students are admitted for $5.

Palm Beach State College’s Tuesday Nite Big Band and various instrumental jazz ensembles will perform selections from the 1940s to the present at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Eissey Campus Theatre.

The Art Gallery at Eissey Campus will showcase the work of Chilean born artist Orlando Chiang in a new exhibit beginning Oct. 25.
The exhibit, titled “HUMANITY,” features four mixed media installations that reflect the human body and condition. An opening reception will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 25.

The art gallery at Palm Beach State College’s Lake Worth campus is starting its fall season with an exhibit featuring paintings by PBSC Adjunct Professor Gerald O’Sullivan.

The “Summer in the Gardens” exhibit featuring artworks by 19 teachers from the Palm Beach County Art Teachers Association will be on display at the Art Gallery at Eissey Campus beginning May 17.

Palm Beach State College’s Duncan Theatre on the Lake Worth campus has been named by Florida Weekly as the 2016 Best Place for a Song and Dance.
According to the publication, the Duncan Theatre’s 29th season delivered the strongest line-up of iconic modern dance companies in the theatre’s history such as Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Paul Taylor Dance Company, Pilobolus and the 70th anniversary tour of Jose Limon Dance Company.
