Palm Beach State College marketing initiatives have received six national awards in recent competitions that drew thousands of entries from all 50 states and several nations.
The total includes five Educational Advertising Awards from the Higher Education Marketing Report and a Paragon Award from the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations.
“The Measure of Excellence,” PBSC’s current marketing campaign, earned Educational Advertising Awards in these categories: total advertising campaign (silver), single newspaper ad (bronze), outdoor advertising (bronze), newspaper ad series (merit), and TV advertising series (merit).
Created by West Palm Beach-based agency BG, Inc., the campaign showcases faculty and program excellence as described by current students and graduates. Judges consisted of a national panel of higher education marketers, advertising creative directors, marketing and advertising professionals, and the editorial board of Higher Education Marketing Report. The awards were announced in early March.
On March 18, the PBSC College Relations & Marketing team received a national bronze Paragon Award from NCMPR in the special event promotion category for marketing of the College Foundation’s STEAM launch.
In addition to the national honors, the American Advertising Federation’s Fort Lauderdale/West Palm Beach chapter recently awarded a Silver Addy to BG, Inc. in the digital advertising category for the Measure of Excellence landing page microsite. The PBSC site features unscripted video testimonials in which students share their educational journey.
